2021 Christmas Lights

Last week saw the big Oxford Street Christmas lights switch-on. However, it was a little different this year, as it was not just Oxford Street that turned its Christmas lights on but also 20 other streets across London’s West End that turned their lights on in sync. This included Bond Street, Regent Street as well as streets around Piccadilly and Mayfair and totalled over a million LED lights which they say was the biggest switch-on in the world.

This year’s Oxford Street lights, which are new for 2021, are made up of magical looking stars which are meant to make a pretty impact against the sky at night, while Bond Street have peacock motifs as their lights.

Naturally the lights look their best when it’s dark and are well worth coming to see and will be on until early January.
